The Milobuar Compound Institute is one of the biggest premix producing plants in Israel. The plant produces livestock feeds and supplies raw materials for cattle farms and animal feeding facilities.
Located in the Bay of Haifa, it is jointly owned by three GPO's: Bay Farms, Yizrael Valley Farms and Upper Galilee Farms.
Miloubar produces more than 220 kinds of compound feeds for broilers, layers, breeders, turkeys, fish, ostrich, pigs, cattle and sheep. All compounds are produced according to Miloubar’s nutrition programs.
Raw materials are generally purchased abroad.

Raw materials used in the production of compounds include seeds, dried oil grains, various kinds of flour, oils, vitamins and minerals.
Samples of all incoming raw materials are taken from trucks and cars which reach the plant and are in turn sent for lab checks. All raw materials undergo a magnetic sieving & processing procedure, in order to prevent the penetration of unwanted elements into the containers.
The production process is entirely computerized, thereby enabling the continuous manufacturing of 580,000 tons per annum. Prior to shipment, all compounds undergo the “NIR” (real-time net inspection) system quality assurance examination.
In addition to the “NIR” examination which is carried out at the plant, all raw materials and premixes are subject to routine monitoring and special tests at a chemical lab. A team of expert nutritionists provides consulting to clients based on on-site inspection of farms.
